Staff at TAS Engineering Consultants took part in a prestigious Electrical Safety Training Programme led by a world-leading electrical practitioner, Jim Philips.
US-based Jim Phillips, P.E., specialises in delivering training on such topics as Electrical Safety, Power System Design and Arc Flash Training. With 30 years’ experience in international training, Jim is recognised as an authority on electrical power systems and public speaker in the power industry.
In total, sixteen staff members of TAS enjoyed a two-day training course with the specialist, completing a programme of the latest developments in Arc Flash; including the 2-second rule and approaches to DC Arc Flash.
TAS is an expert in Arc Flash and has to date completed over 50 Arc Flash studies in industrial settings. Consequently, TAS has the largest collection of up-to-date Arc Flash data and incident statistics in the UK.
